Your About You Section: Hi I'm Karen and I’m located in Cairns. As a qualified, registered and practicing counsellor with a great affinity for animals and their owners, I provide the full suite of end-of-life doula and grief support for both people and pets. I became an Animal Companion Doula and Celebrant in 2023.
As pet parents to two mischievous dogs Harlie and Gracie, my husband and I take them to pet friendly places regularly. We are often stopped by people who have recently lost a pet, and have found that there is a real need for specialised pet end-of-life support.
Having recently added an End of Life Doula certification, I have expanded my services to offer support with development of Advanced Care Plans, and end-of-life planning and advice for people.
