Join the ADC Community
At the Australian Doula College we strongly believe in the importance of ongoing support and education for those working in the doula space. It is equally as important for people and their families to know their doula is updating their skills regularly and is part of a trusted and supportive community. Being a member of the ADC is a great way to remain supported and mentored while you are working as a doula.
We value our members deeply because their participation and membership fees contributes to the College's ability to continue to elevate the profile of doulas and to advocate for better care for all people, across the spectrum of life as well as providing charitable, social and community minded projects. For example, The Doula Heart Network provides free doula services to those who would not otherwise have access to it and our Yothu Basket Project supplies much needed baby and mama goods to mothers and babies in North East Arnhem land.

Members are also able to participate in our charity and community based offerings like the Doula Heart Network and Groundwork Program. Being a member gives you the opportunity to give back to the wider community, be involved in programs that really do change people’s lives. This work is deeply important and your presence in our community is essential to our being able to continue the work we do.

​We thank all of our members for choosing to be part of this wonderful community, while doing their part to support and enhance the human experience, in life's big transitions. It is an honour to support our members, to share knowledge and to hold space for one another and help each other grow.
You can become a member of the community as both a student or when you complete your training.

​There are two membership options:

Community Member $110 per year​
Select this option if you’re a current graduate of the College.
​
Student Member $50 for 12 months
Select this option if you’re a current student of the College.
This discounted membership fee of $50 can be purchased once, following you can sign up to be a community member.

Qualified Doula Directory Listing
Get listed on our directory! Your photo, bio and direct links to your email and socials so clients can reach you directly on our website. Having your photo and profile on our site is a great way to continue your exposure out in the marketplace.
Online Community Group
We have a closed Facebook group where you can connect with other doulas, share ideas and thoughts in a safe place.

Access to the ADC 24/7 on-call phone
Got a time sensitive question or need support in real time. Call us 24/7. Extremely handy and comforting to have the support of an experienced Doula when you are with clients and families.

Got a questions or need some general advice, we are here for you. You can access our question box at any time through our website as a Community member.

Use of the ADC Member Badge
You have access to use our logo for promotion and identification that you are affiliated with the ADC.

Doula Heart Network + Groundwork Program
Community members can signup to volunteer for the Doula Heart Network or apply to join the Groundwork Program as a paid contractor assisting vulnerable women, babies and their support network.

Monthly E-Newsletters
Apply to be featured in the Member Offering section of the ADC-’Let’s Doula This’ newsletter for further promotion.
Events and Social Media
Members only invitations to attend local events with us to promote the work of doulas, the College and of course, yourself. We promote our community members through our social media channels through regular posts and sharing your tagged content.
Early bird access and special offers
Members will have the opportunity for early bird access to ADC events such as our annual retreat, and access to special offers throughout the year to say thank you for being part of the community.
