My name is Bella, I am originally from the UK but have lived in Sydney since 1997. I studied French and Spanish at University before moving to Oz. I am a Northern Beaches based mum of teen/adult children.
I had four babies naturally, each weighing in at 4kg - so I know from personal experience what many of our incredible bodies are capable of in labour. But regardless of how a baby enters the world (vaginally or via caesarean) it is a sacred time of arrival and that first breath and the period soon after can be truly magical if the right support is offered.
I have loved anything to do with newborns since the age of 10 and pregnancy continues to fascinate me. I offer birth preparation sessions during the pregnancy, birth support during labour and just as importantly post-partum support for mum and bub in the early weeks following bub's arrival. As a doula my role is to empower 'you' to make the best decision for your pregnancy/birth without telling you what to do or being judgemental.
