I’ve been working with pregnant women and new mothers for the past 15 years as a Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga and Pilates Instructor and more recently as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and Hypnobirthing Australia practitioner.
I’ve helped thousands of women prepare their bodies for labour and birth and to regain their “pre- baby body” but it wasn’t until I gave birth to my son in 2016 that I realised how important a positive mindset is during pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
Whilst I attribute education, tools, support and preparation to my beautiful drug- free water birth, it was my positive mindset that helped me to stay calm and trust the process.
I'd introduced breathing techniques, active birth positions, meditation and deep relaxation in my prenatal yoga classes prior to my son’s birth but I wanted to learn how to teach women to use self- hypnosis and positive mindset to release their fears around birth so became a Hypnobirthing Australia® practitioner.
I cannot wait to be an advocate for your birth and to be witness to your positive, empowering and beautiful birth.
