Sharon

Sharon is a Registered Nurse with a Masters in Nursing specialising in Paediatrics, Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care. She is a mother of 3 adult daughters and grandmother of 3 beautiful little people. Along with her personal mothering experience, Sharon has had more than 30 years professional experience caring for babies, children and families both within the hospital and family home settings.
Sharon is a graduate of the Australian Doula College and Newborn Mothers Collective and provides postpartum support to new mothers. She is also an infant massage instructor and baby & child first aid educator and is a member of Infant Massage Australia and the Australian Association for Infant Mental Health.
Sharon is passionate about empowering and equipping new mothers particularly in the first 40 days through nourishing and nurturing, supportive care and establishing their village.
Sharon has a particular interest in supporting families with a premature baby or child with complex health issues especially in the transition home from hospital, supporting healthy parent-infant attachment, and establishing a workable family routine to assist families to flourish and thrive not just survive.
