Childbirth Education Classes
Philippe and I just wanted to thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us at the Childbirth and Parenting Course on the weekend. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and and got so much out of it. We feel much more well versed in the process of birth and what to expect in the days that follow our little man's arrival.
I didn't think it possible to be even more excited about giving birth than what I already was, but I am after your course! It answered a lot of questions, taught us things we didn't even think of and made us feel much more empowered and confident about our impending parenthood.
So thank-you for being entertaining and sharing all that wonderful knowledge.

I will have to keep this short as you can imagine I have my hands full with new twins and a 3 year old.
I just wanted to thank you again for all your information leading into the birth of our twins. We were truly inspired and empowered through the phone sessions and video you gave us and it lead us to have an incredible birth experience. Someone was watching over us and we had two incredible midwives plus a female doctor on shift that was so open to what we wanted to achieve that the whole experience leaves me with goose bumps.
We delivered our two girls completely naturally and drug free and with a very active labour...it was all I could have hoped for.
The doctor allowed Jonathon to be very much a part of the whole thing and he was right in amongst it, catching the girls as they came out, participating on all levels. I went to a routine visit last Monday and it showed I was already 4-5cm dilated...didn't know it at all, so we stayed overnight as we live a long way from the hospital. Nothing happened really until the next afternoon when my water broke...although it was only 11pm at night that things started heating up and I would consider myself in labour. 3 hours later our first girl was born at 2.15am weighing 2.75kg, and 16 minutes later our second at 2.31am weighing 2.25kg. both were as healthy as could be and needed no support. Arliyah Neeve Allen (our first girl) , I put her at my chest straight after she was birthed and she stayed there until Jonathon held her while I birthed our second...Scarlet Neeve Allen who was then put near chest also....both cords were left attached for 20 odd minutes. we used homeopathic arnica to lessen the shock of the birth for both girls within half hour and you could see the difference. They are incredible little girls and I feel blessed to have experienced what every woman should be able to.

We were recently given in-house childbirth education classes by Renee Adair. We found the classes to be extremely enjoyable and informative. Renee is such a lovely, sincere person with an excellent sense of humor who is also very professional. The information Renee gave us was invaluable in labour. Whilst in the throws of a heavy contraction, Renee's solid information would come to mind and help me through. In fact I am sure my birth was made a lot easier because of her words of wisdom!
My husband, and support person James was so grateful for the education classes. Renee helped put his mind at ease and prepared him for the big day - which of course in turn, put my mind at ease!
We recommend Renee as a childbirth educator, and will definitely call her for the next bub!

When my husband and I discovered we were pregnant, we were overjoyed! However, now we were pregnant- what next? ……With so much contradictory advice flying around and ‘scare stories’ from well meaning people, it was all very confusing.
Both our Naturopath and our Doula referred us to Birth Central. After investigating Birth Central, their values and who they are, we decided that this was the best option for us in regards to our education. We are so grateful we made that decision.
We decided on private classes……. We wanted a one on one more ‘tailored’ approach to our needs and the ability to ask questions unheeded. Birth Central demystified EVERYTHING. The ‘training’ was down to earth, simple. They took time to answer any questions or concerns (and) it was great to be heard as to what our individual needs were.
From a Dad to be perspective…… The sessions were a real eye opening experience; I have a completely new respect for women! (especially my wife). The whole time I felt comfortable and important- as normally it is all about the woman and baby this was also about the Dad and I felt included at all times.
From a mum to be perspective I found the sessions invaluable…… Most importantly, I discovered I had ‘options’. The sessions were extremely empowering for me as a woman as I discovered what I instinctively suspected what my body is naturally capable of through this process to be true.

We are thrilled to let you know we had our little baby boy on Wednesday the 11th of March, he was 2.8kg and we have called him Jamal Roberto Chardi.
Thanks for all your support in the lead up to his birth, we both found the classes very informative and helpful in the birthing process.
I have attached a picture of him, he is a beautiful healthy little darling and we are blessed to have him ( and tired of course!).
