Reiki

Reiki (pronounced ray key) is a Japanese word describing universal life force or energy. Master healers with the ability to cannel to enhance the life force of others  are famous through out history. Ie; Jesus and Buddha, just to name two. It was this fact that inspired Dr Mikao Usui, a Japanese Christian educator to research ancient biblical texts in the 1800's in order to re-discover how this channeling was done.....discovered in the Buddhist Sutras.

In eastern tradition Reiki was an oral tradition entrusted to only one grand master at a time until Mrs Hawayo Takata just before WW2. In her wisdom, Mrs Takata created 22 grand masters throughtout the world so that Reiki could become more widespread. One of these 22 blessed  masters, Rev Beth Gray was Helen's Reki Master and teacher.

So......What is Reiki or universial energy?

Picture for a moment....the trees and clouds moving about the sky: your hair being blown about your face...what is moving it? Can you see it? Generally, no, it can not be seen but it can be felt. Well Reiki is like that, it is the unseen (by most) but felt. We see and feel its effects.

What causes a seed to produce a tree? What is it that causes an egg and sperm to join, expand and grow...in fact, what is it that brings physical form a 'beingness' within the womb? Great questions!  Answer...?

Universial energy, energy that is filled with love, grace and magnificence. Univerisal energy (Reiki) is the precious gift of life force, God force, Soul, Devine Energy, Qi, Prana, Mana....known by many names but all equal and all divine.

A Reiki channel is just that....a channel or pipeline. You as a channel are a conduit of the Reiki energy and your hands are the 'transmitters' or 'jumper leads' . By placing your hands on yourself, your loved ones, clients, even food, animals and plants you provide what/whomever you have your hands on, the opening to draw the Divine Energy or unconditional universal Qi.

 To be come a Reiki channel you need four 'fine tunings' or attunements from a quilified Reiki Master. These fine tunings are where you are opened up to and connected with the Reiki energy. You can never lose the ability to channel Reiki after receiving the final attunement. These attunements take place over a weekend seminar where you also learn, the history  and application of Reiki and how to apply it to yourself and others.

There is alot of hands on practice during the seminar so that you will leave feeling confident of your ability to channel Reiki.

Reiki II is called the advanced Reiki level and is the level before Mastery. There is an additional two attunements and you will also be tought ancient symbols and mantra and their application to invoke this advanced level of energy. Reiki II is used to bring forth an expanded level of Qi, to communicate directly with the inner self and to provide Reiki healing from a distance which can be used on oneself, friends, family, clients, world events ect.
