Professional Supervision

We recommend and suggest to all our doulas and practitioners that they keep their work and themselves in check with on going professional supervision. This allows them to keep abreast of their practice and their interpersonal skills with clients.

We suggest that sessions are held monthly or should be attended when a difficult or challenging situaiton has been experienced. Clearing any issues that have come up for the doula allows her to look within and not carry any negative thoughts or feelings into another labour and birth or in her personal life.

Sessions are with the Director of the College Renee Adair and are $90.00 per hour (for non members) and $75.00 per hour (for members)
